Customer Email Address Not Updating on Account


A customer has updated their email address on their Single Sign On account (Ticket Master, Sports Alliance etc) and it hasn't updated in back office. 

The back office does not store customer account information; it only contains the details required to process an order.


If changes are made to a customer's Single Sign-On (SSO) account, those updates will not be reflected in the back office until the customer logs in and places a new order. At that point, the back office will capture the updated email address associated with the new purchase.


Email addresses recorded against existing orders will remain as they were at the time the order was placed, unless they are manually updated within the back office.
