Scanning the Membership on the Tills


Once you've scanned all the items the customer is purchasing, 
If you press the Total Button, a new screen will appear. 


You can type in the membership number or scan it if there is a barcode. 
If they don't have a membership, you can press cancel to continue

As soon as you press ok it will search the Gigya database to get any discount they are entitled to. 


You can then process the transaction as normal. 

F.A.Q's


If I press cancel on the membership screen, but I do need to add the membership number.  How do you do this?


If you press the back to sales button on the till and press total again,  it will bring up the membership screen again. 

We have some items in the basket that are discounted or in a promotion.  How do we cancel the additional membership discount? 

Before you press the tender buttons, you can press the cancel discount to remove the membership discount. 

Editing the Customer Discount Groups


For the discount rules you'll need to create these within 

Reason Maintenance > Customer Groups

You'll need to know the following:
  • Group Name - It is important this is identical to what appears in Gigya otherwise it shall not work
  • Discount %


once the group(s) have been created you can select them from the list in Gigya 

Press Apply Changes to save the settings.

Reporting

The Fan ID will return assigned to the till transaction and be visible within the back office reports and in the order API endpoints.

You can also filter these against those who have entered their ID using this toggle.
