How to Deduct VAT on EU Countries
In order to start deducting VAT against EU countries following Brexit you will need to make some changes against all EU countries in File maintenance -> Countries. From within this program you will need to click "change" against each of the countries outlined under the "countries to be updated" section of this manual. Once against the country you will need to untick the "European Community member" field and tick the "deduct VAT" field, meaning that you should see the country settings go from this:

You may note that when placing an order, the website will prompt the customer with a message stating "as you are outside of the EC VAT has been removed from your order" should you wish to have this changed to "as you are outside of the UK VAT has been removed from your order" due to the changes, please contact Jonas Sports and we will update this for you.
