Printing Barcodes

To print Barcodes from the system you can go to Pricing > Barcode Label Printing.



You will then choose the relevant options





Select Print Type:




  • Print By Style - This will allow you to search for any item on the system, enter a quantity and then print the barcode labels.

  • Print Purchase Order Number - This will allow you to print off all the barcodes for products on a specific Purchase Order, this means if you know everything on the delivery requires a label you can use this instead of searching each individual item on the order.

  • Print By Transfer Number - This option will allow you to print off all the barcodes for products on a specific Transfer Note, this means if you know everything to be transferred requires a label you can use this instead of searching each individual item on the transfer note.

  • Quick Print - This option allows you to print barcodes by scanning a barcode already on the system, then entering a quantity and it will print of that quantity of labels for the item you have scanned.


Barcode Heading:





This is what will print in the black bar at the top of the barcode, usually the name of the shop.






Labels Size:



This is the size of labels that you are printing with. Any barcode rolls purchased from R&SS will be Medium Two Across.


Print Original Price:





If the product has been put on sale (marked down/price reduced etc), you can opt to have the old price printed on the label (scored out) and the new price at the bottom.




Once you have selected your options, enter the relevant information



Print By Style


Search for the item you need to print, press [ADD]





Then enter the quantity you need and press Add. 





You can then add more items if required, to print press "Print Labels" this will then preview the labels in a PDF, select your thermal printer (usually Toshiba TEC) then press print.






Print Purchase Order Number

Enter a supplier code and PO Number.





Print By Transfer Number


Enter the Pick Note Number / Transfer Number.





Quick Print


Scan the barcode that you want to print then enter a quantity.






Printing Manufacturer/Supplier Barcodes



If you have added manufacturer barcodes on the system - when printing barcodes you will have the option to print these as well.
