Setting Up A Landing Page

Landing Page Maintenance


To create a landing page you will first need to go into Landing Page Maintenance under Customer Order Setup



The highlighted areas are the main bits of information required. 



  • Enter a title for the landing page, this is the full name for the page.

  • Now enter a short name. This will be used in the URL bar and ideally be in lowercase and must not contain spaces or special characters.


You can upload an image which will appear on the background of the landing page. Click Remove to delete it if you need to.


Meta Tags and Meta Desc should be used for the text search engines display.




Please make sure that you make the page active. Even when in preview mode this will need to be ticked to be visible.


Preview Site Only allows you to set up a landing page so that it is not accessible by the public until you are ready. 


Make sure to untick this when you are ready. There is a link to the right (View website in preview mode) which gives a direct link to the landing page so it can be viewed when in preview mode.


Active Days Tick which days you would like the page to be visible. Choose All Week to select all days.


Show Headers and Footers allow you to choose whether a page shows the header (and menu bars) and footer or it shall show only the landing page.


Create Homepage Redirection determines whether the page is redirected to automatically on the homepage. Yes means redirect, no means the user must click on a URL to the page. The URL is in the form of www.website.com/event/shortname


Start and end date boxes can be used to set a start and end up for the page. The date range must be valid for today in order to view in preview mode.



Landing Page Images


You can set up your images and link for the landing pages in Web Pages And Email Text under Customer Order Setup.


You will notice that a new tab has been created for each landing page.




You can click [Add A New Image] to create an image or use edit to change one.


You will need to enter a Link. This should be a complete web URL to a web you would like the image to go when clicked. (Optional)


You can upload an image and a responsive image. The responsive images should all be the same width so they aligning correctly when viewed on mobiles and tablets.


Display Text places text over the top on your image. (Optional)


Image Type determines the layout in the grid.





You may enter a YouTube video link which will convert the box into a YouTube video player when clicked. This should be just the id as in the above example. The image can be a placeholder for a video. (Optional)


Count Down Clock End Date/Time will set a timer running on the image in days, hours, minutes and seconds until the date/time specified. The image can contain text or an image relevant to what the timer in a countdown to. (Optional)


Active and Active days and Start / End are used to control when the items are listed.


To manage the position of the images you can either change the Position number or use the draggable grid panel.
