What is the Stocktake Item Adjustment Program?

The Stocktake item adjustment program gives you the ability to make adjustments to individual items before the stocktake has been committed if the counted or scanned value was incorrect.

When should you use the Stocktake Item Adjustment Program?

You should use this program once the counted values have been enter and you have checked the anaylsis printing report to confirm all counted values. If any counted values are incorrect, you can use this program to manually adjust the values to the correct amount.

Steps to use the Stocktake Item Adjustment Program.

1) Choose which Branch to run the adjustment for

2) Input and select the item you want to adjust

3) Add the bin location (if location isn’t already counted)

4) Amend the current count

OR

5) Add a new count

6) Update item adjustment

Choose which Branch to run the adjustment for

The first step to the Stocktake item adjustment program is to choose which branch you want to adjust the items counted value against. The branches that show on this list will only be those branches that are still frozen.

 Input and select the item you want to adjust

After you’ve chosen which branch you are adjusting the item against, the next step is to chose the item you want to adjust. To do this search for the item either by item code or description and press search. Once this has been done, the system will generate a list of all products related to your search. You will need to select the relavent item you want to adjust by clicking Edit.

 Amend the current count

If the location of the newly counted value has already been counted once and there is already a value for this location on the list for the item, you will need to amend the counted value against the corresponding line. E.g.:

Add the bin location (if location isn’t already counted)

Once the item has been selected you will be presented with a screen similar to below, showing all the locations this item has already been scanned in.

If the bin location the extra count is from is not on this list then you will need to add it. To do this click “add Location” and you will be presented with 2 input boxes, one for the bin location and one for the counted value. You will need to enter the bin location in the below box.

Add a new count

After adding the bin location for the new count you will then need to input the figure for the new location and click add location.

This will then add a new line to the item with the bin location and amount counted.

 Update Item Adjustment

Once all adjustments have been correctly made against the product and you are satisfied that all counted values are right, you will need to press “update.” This will then update the stocktake counts with the relevant numbers and show the updated figures on the stocktake analysis printing discrepancy report.
