This guide is for creating and mapping personalisation letters based on existing letters (specifically to make youth letters), however if you have no letters you will be able to click 'No' during Simple Stock Creation to create your first letter.
To create the letters go into Simple Stock Creation - Under Stock
The first question is whether you want to copy from an existing product. If you know you have other letters then the easiest option is to copy. Therefore click search
If the letters are not listed as soon as you are in this program you can add details in the description field.
Click into copy SID
You'll now be taken through a series of menus, the only thing that you would need to change is the colour and whether it is adult/youth/infant depending on what you are offering.
Once this is complete the stock has been completed. If you are creating from scratch the main thing you need to consider is adding these to the Printing department. When mapping if the letters and numbers are not in this department they will not show listed on the mapping page.
The final step is mapping the letters to the personalisation.
To complete this part, you will need to Squad and Personalisation Maintenance under Customer Order Setup.
Click on the option for Individual Letters/Numbers
The next page you have to select the colour and font that you want to update.
Please be aware that only the options that have been set up will show. If you are adding a new font or colour you will need to create these first.
Once selected you will either see a page full of barcodes (if you are updating) or a page with blank fields (adding to a new colour or font option created).
Examples below:
All you are required to do is click the letter and select from the options listed.
If you are unable to see the relevant letter then it means you have not set the letter up as printing.
