There are two steps to turn on Click and Collect.
Firstly go toSystem Configuration under File Maintenance
Click into the Web Specific tab - You will see the option to allow deliveries to store
The option needs to be ticked and then apply changes.
The second step is to select which branches you want click and collect enabled at.
Navigate to Branch Maintenance under File Maintenance
Press change next to the branch you want click and collect enabling at
Scroll down and tick Allow Collection and Update at the bottom of the screen
Collections Picked and Packed from this Store - This check box means it will only allow collections that are in stock at the location. So if the item is out of stock at this branch, a customer won't be able to order for collection.
Unticking this setting will then allow any stock to be purchased for collection from the branch - regardless of stock location. A few extra steps will now be needed with your despatch process however; specifically once you have despatched the collection orders as normal, once the item then arrives at the branch you'll need to navigate to:
1. Order Despatching
2. Collection Order Update
3. Receive In-Transit Orders
This will then trigger the email to the customer to let them know that their order is ready to collect.
