Setting up the Squad Page

to setup the squad page for new players
you'll need to go to Customer Order Setup > Squad and Personalisation Maintenance > Squad Names

from here you'll get a list of the squad

you can add players by pressing create new. 
fill in the Squad Number, Squad Web Number and Name
and press Insert at the bottom to save

Creating the Player Page

once you've created the squad players, 
it's now time to create the player page. 

to do this go to  Customer Order Setup > Shop by Player Maintenance 
from here we can click Create New to add a new player

within this screen we can fill in the following information:

  • Player Name 
  • Squad Name (Drop down select)
  • Squad Image (Either a picture of the player or back of the shirt image)

couple of optional items you can add 

  • Banners (.jpg format)
  • Player Bio

You can also re-arrange the order of the players by using the up/down arrows.

Adding Products to the Player Page

once the player pages have been added you can now add products to the page.
to add products to the page we go to Customer Order Setup > Catalogue File Maintenance > Catalogue Codes and find bring up the SID you want to add. 

on the right hand side you are going to want to click on Maintain Player Pages  and Rankings



from this screen you can add new players to the page by clicking Add Web Page and selecting the Player



Once you've selected the player. 
you are going to select the type of shirt it is (home/away) and give it a ranking. 

for the rankings we recommend the following:

Home Away Third Alt Accessory
Ranking 10 20 30 40 50

this will ensure that your products show in the right order .

once you've setup the rankings you can go back a screen and click on Maintain Star Shirts 



from here you can select and add the player from the bottom and add in your image for the back of the shirt. 



once you are happy you've added all of them you can save it and run the web jobs update.


Adding the Shop by Player Page to the Website

to add the shop by player page to the website 
you'll need to go to Customer Order Setup > Web Department/Sub Department Maintenance if you then click Maintain Menu bar on the right hand side



In the top menu section you can create a new menu item. 




you'll want to make sure the following is filled out 



leave everything else as default and you can then press save at the bottom. 
this will then add the shop by player to the main header
