Setup Shop By Player - Player Page Setup
Once the squad list is updated in Customer Order Setup -> Squad and Personalisation Maintenance -> Squad Names (see out manual https://rsshelpdesk.jitbit.com/helpdesk/KB/View/29601534-how-do-i-setup-shop-by-player-squad-list ). Then it has to be updated in:
Customer Order Setup -> Shop by Players Maintenance
You may need to delete the players from the previous season if necessary. You may prefer to edit a player if the player number is being reused.
Tick the boxes in the right hand column and then press Delete Selected.
To add a new player click Add New Player.
To edit a player click on the Edit.
The blue up and down arrows are used to change the ranking/position of the players or in other words controlling the the sequence they are displayed on the page. This is usually ranked by squad number.
When creating a new player or editing an existing one you need to add the following details:
- Player Name - Enter the player's full name or just its surname.
- Player Squad - Select the player it links to from the drop down.
- Player Text - You can enter some text about the player, for example a short biography but the field is not mandatory.
- Banner Image - Upload the main banner for the player using the image sizes specified on your screen.
- Player Image - Upload a photograph of the player if you have some. If not we can upload the star shirts we are creating.
- Alternative/Rollover Image - Upload a rollover image that will display when you roll your mouse over the player on the website.
