Select Wholesale
Sales Postings from the Wholesale menu.
Enter part of the customers name and press
Search, this will give you a list of
matching customers to select from.
Select the customer you want to post an
invoice for. For this example, ASDA Campo Retro will be selected.
When you have selected the customer you can change the customer’s details by clicking on the Customers Name at the top of the screen. If you do this you will go to the Account Maintenance screen, when you have finished press the Back button at the top right hand corner to return to the screen shown above.
Select the posting type required, Invoice or CreditNote, from the Action dropdown.
Select Next.
You will need to enter a CustomerReference or PurchaseOrderNumber, you can leave this blank at this point but you cannot finalise the posting without it.
Enter the Invoice/CreditNote posting date.
You must select a DeliveryAddress from the list of delivery addresses setup against the customer before you can press Next to proceed.
You can change the customer's details by clicking on the CustomersName at the top of the screen.
You can add a delivery address by clicking
the Create New Delivery Address
link, when you have finished press the Back
button at the top right hand corner to return to the screen shown above.
Enter the style code or part of the item description and press the Search button.
A list of matching styles will be shown, press the View link to show the Colour/Sizes and the Quantity in stock.
Enter the Quantity you require against each size and press Add to Order.
You can change the customer's details by clicking on the CustomersName at the top of the screen.
The items you have selected will be shown on the screen above, for customers where the price is to be entered then you need to enter the cost price to the customer in the Unit Cost INC column and press Apply Changes.
Note: Please note that for price entry the unit cost must be the price you are selling to the Wholesaler should be Inclusive of VAT.
You can change the quantity required of any item by changing the Quantity and pressing the ApplyChanges button.
You can remove a line by pressing the Delete link under the quantity box.
In this example you can add more items or
press the Suspend or Void link. The invoice cannot be posted until a Customer Reference or Purchase Order Number has been entered.
If a posting has been Suspended you can recall it from the Action drop down as shown in the screenshot above.
The Complete Invoice link is shown if a CustomerRef or PurchaseOrder number has been entered.
Once the CompleteInvoice link is selected the Invoice or CreditNote will be posted and the required number of copies will be printed in PDF form with the headings specified in the WholesaleSystemConfiguration.
You can select to view the sample of the invoice by selecting SpecimenInvoicePrint link.
