Connect the Printer Via USB 
Download the Drivers using this link

Extract the folder and run the setup.

when it gets to installation type select custom

Disable all the features except for the SM-L300 Printer

finish off the installation

you can then add the printer manually within Control Panel >  Devices and Printer 
and the Star SM-L300 driver should appear.
