My Account Order History Revamp 03.2023
Overview:
As part of these changes we wanted to give more visibility to the customer over their orders and the statuses. This started from the concept of having an alternative for the “Ready to collect†emails when these do not come through due to email provider issues (at the receiver end).
We have therefore added some new functionality to the My Account part of the site which does not require any additional setup in the back office.
Summary:
visibility of order and order lines statuses with short descriptions (including “ready to collect†status)
ability to view the order confirmation email in the browser
order history will now also show cancelled orders
ability to view courier tracking info similar to order enquiry

in order to change some of the labels and their descriptions this can be done from Language Translations, but please contact us if you would like to have these changed as they are best kept generic, not meant to change often.

the link to view more details about the order was not visible enough so we have put it into a separate button

This will display in a popup upon clicking the view email link.
3. Status
This
can be viewed on the list of orders and list of items within each
order, specific to item. There are now a few different statuses the
customer can see:
A. Order level
Placed & Ready to process â†' this will display until the order is released
Processing â†' order has been released
Pending â†' Depending on the provenance of the order this can happen if the order is not fully created or imported or not payment not fully processed
Payment Pending
Cancelled
Part Shipped â†' only some of the items have been despatched
Despatched / Ready To Collect â†' order is despatched or ready to collect depending on whether it is delivery or collection; just a change of wording, logic is the same behind these labels.
Returned
Part Returned â†' only some items Returned
B. Line level
This will use the relevant statuses from above with the logic adapted to order line level e.g.
