When selling match day Programmes online you may wish to charge a lower price than the full standard delivery charge for individual items.
If a Programme is sold for £3 and Standard delivery is £3.95, a customer may be unwilling to pay more for postage than for the actual item.
The way that it works is you set a price per Programme, for example £1, the online shop will charge the quantity x the nominated price until this exceeds the standard postage rate.
i.e.: if the price is £1 and you charge £3.95 to a UK address the following will be charged;
1 programme £1
2 programmes £2
3 programmes £3
More than 3 programmes £3.95
When setting up the Programme under "Stock Creation", set the Postage and Packing Rule as shown below:
If Postage Band 'A' is already in use, then Postage Bands 'B' or 'E' may be used but this must be followed through on the Programme Postage Rules - Delivery Options Manual
Ensure that the following option is ticked in System Config - Web Specific tab
