When you have an order that contains a programme subscription it should be released in the usual manner. Once the order has been released the item will be marked as completed in the system so that you do not need to despatch it as it is not a physical item. If the order has other products then these will need to be processed as usual.
As the orders are released the customer will be added to the
subscription list which is required for the next stage.
From the main menu go to Customer Ordering and then to Programme Subscription Order Generation.
If this is your first time running the program for the current season you will need to enter the current programme subscription barcode. Find the barcode from stock enquiry, copy and paste it into the box and press Next.
Once confirmed you will be presented with the current issue and the number of orders waiting to be generated. When you are ready click Create Orders and the orders will be generated using the customers’ address details from the original subscription order.
If successful you will be notified about the number of the orders that have been generated for the current issue. Press Complete and you will be taken back to the main menu.
If orders for Programme Subscriptions come in after the issues have been generated you will not be able to go back and reissue them retrospectively.
Once the orders have been created they will be automatically released and will come through on the next picking run without showing in Hold/Release first.
