Release Notes Version 3.5 (Q3 October / November 2025)

You may need to assign relevant permissions for new programs as necessary.

1. New Features & Modules

Website / Front-end Focused

  • Introduced a lightbox for the product gallery, enhancing the visual experience for users browsing product images.


PDP Layout Improvements & Payment Icons:

You can now customise payment method icons on the Product Detail Page, including support for uploading custom SVG icons for better branding and visual consistency.

Added support for decals on product images across listings and product pages. Decals can be linked to promotions, individual products, or default tags.

Sub-department pages now support a Featured Products tab, allowing products to be added, ranked, and displayed at the top of the page, with only in-stock and sell on web items visible.


PLP Category Tags:

Category tags can now be enabled on listing pages by ticking a single option in Web Department Maintenance at the department level, which will also apply to all linked subdepartments.

Product listing pages now paginate 64 products at a time, category-specific top and bottom text can be added for SEO without clutter, and PLP top text is now fully visible without Read More collapse.


PLP Configurable Portrait Mode & Number of Products in a row : 

Added options to enable portrait mode for product images and apply portrait-style image dimension restrictions, allowing flexible display and upload preferences.

  • Added functionality to upload responsive banners for web departments and topmenus on the responsive sidemenu

Season Ticket Discount with Promotion Discount - Online Only :

Customers can now redeem Season Ticket Discounts alongside Promotion Discounts when the configuration option is enabled. This feature is exclusive to the Online Shop.


Back office Focused

  • Stock Management now features quick lookup by product, SKU, or barcode, live filtering and sorting, fast performance for large datasets, and integrated catalogue access for viewing and editing entries.

  • Extended reason maintenance functionality to allow for pre-defined reason-specific email templates. These can also be amended at order processing stage.

New version of the Orders Not Despatched Stock Report (acr30.php)

  • This version is meant to replace the current version (cr30.php).

  • Reports are now generated asynchronously and queued for processing, with job status tracking and error logging.

  • Speed improvements introduced by optimising the retrieval of data.




2. Improvements / Enhancements

Cloudflare Caching for Product Images

  • Image URLs now include a last modified time parameter to bypass caching and ensure the latest images are displayed.

Basket Sidebar

  • Cart Sidebar Fallback Button - Added "Go to Basket" button for empty cart scenarios to maintain user navigation flow.

  • Removed throttling of 60 requests per minute which was causing problems during high-traffic events


Responsive Header Sidemenu Usability & Accessibility

  • Refined font sizes, line-heights, and spacing to improve readability and navigation on smaller devices, particularly when browsing shop categories.


Responsive Product Listing Optimisation

  • Adjusted layout spacing to maximise product image display, enhancing visual clarity and engagement across mobile and tablet views.


Personalisation

  • New Premier League Lettering font which supports the full-stop character


Cart Page Text Placement Option

  • Users can now choose to display basket text either above or below cart items.



Country of Origin & Tariff Updates, UPS Shipment Billing Configuration, Intersoft

  • Country of Origin & terms

    • Added support for "Bill Duty & Tax To" and "Bill Transportation To" fields with validation and improved error messaging.

    • Improvement to only show Avalara options in Delivery Method maintenance if Avalara is installed avoiding confusion.

    • Enhanced DDP/DDU (duty paid/duty unpaid) logic for TrakPak shipments by using carrier data instead of hardcoded values.

    • Included CountryOfOrigin field in TrakPak shipment XML.

    • Improved error logging and reporting in TrakPak integration.

  • Country of Origin UPS

    • Enhanced customs compliance for UPS and TrakPak shipments with improved logic, error handling, and XML output.

    • Country of origin now prints for UPS shipments when appropriate.

    • GST TAX lines are now omitted from printing for UPS shipments.

    • These changes improve customs compliance for UPS paperless documents.

  • Intersoft Integration - USA Tarrifs

    • added total order value into quotedLandedCost which is now required for orders to the USA - total cost of order paid by the customer including the goods plus any taxes paid.


Product Export Enhancements

  • Product export now includes the "Sell On Web" column on the Stock Holding extract option.

  • Improves reporting flexibility for users needing online selling information.


Product Amendment Export/Import additions

  • Added support for: product attributes, departments, sub-departments, flags for season and member discount applies

  • CSV export and import process includes validation and detailed error messaging for missing or invalid values.

    • UI improvements, including a warning message displaying the required CSV format for attribute imports.
  • Updated CSV filenames for better clarity:

  • Product details export is now named ProductDetailsExtract.csv

  • Min/Max export is now named MinMaxExtract.csv

  • Attribute export is now named AttributesExtract.csv

  • include 'Season Discount Applies' and 'Member Discount Applies' fields. This ensures these attributes are handled during both export and import operations for style data.


Catalogue Maintenance

  • Improved image upload handling, UI styling, and streamlined web job logic for catalogue updates.

  • Major refactor of om08-4.php to improve image upload handling for multiple product images and enhance the admin UI with alerts and better layout.

  • The web job logic for updating catalogue records and sending to web has been streamlined and now always runs after update. Nosto integration is now conditional on a sysopt flag, and several UI elements have been modernized for clarity and usability.


eGift Cards

  • Server-side validation added for minimum send date, preventing client-side bypass when the item has been sat in the basket for multiple days

  • ˜date to send™ added on dashboard


Ability to block Delivery Methods for multiple branches - applies to Website and Telesales

  • especially relevant for integrations like Fourex where clubs don't want to offer Expedite delivery to 3rd party items

  • applicable to products setup with a Specific Despatch Branch

  • can be configured in Delivery Options Maintenance, specific to each method / service


Min/Max Report

  • Improved efficiency of stock and branch reporting.

  • Reduced memory usage and improved performance for large data sets.

  • Users should experience faster report generation, especially for large branch/stock datasets.

  • Offer Analysis CSV Margin Issue
    Added margin to the CSV version of the Promotion Offer Analysis report to align with the PDF version.

  • Booked Order Analysis VAT Calculation
    Corrected VAT lookup in CSV extracts. P&P and giftwrap VAT are now accurately aggregated, resolving previous miscalculations.

  • Gift Card Substitution Restriction
    Prevented selection of gift cards, vouchers, and bundles during item substitution due to additional data requirements.

  • Order Refund Cancellation Logic
    Updated cancellation programme to ignore deprecated system flags, resolving refund issues.

  • IOSS Reporting Fix
    Resolved duplication issue in order reports caused by incorrectly retrieving despatch data.

  • Out-of-Stock Product Images for Birl
    Enabled image generation for out-of-stock products without affecting system-wide flags.

  • Prolog GRN Cost Calculation
    GRN now uses purchase order cost instead of latest cost, improving accuracy.

  • Max Quantity Validation
    Validation now correctly applies to deliveries and collections.

  • Blocked Country Error Message
    Added redirect and error messaging for blocked countries during checkout.

  • Bin Location Maintenance Fix

    • Corrected logic to show bins only for selected branches.

    • When first entering Bin Location Maintenance all bins for all branches were displayed, not just those for the branch displayed in the branch selection dropdown.

      The branch selection is automatically set to the first branch in the list if none is already selected, & showing only the relevant bins.

  • Shirt Personalisation Preview Border Colour Fix

    • Corrected hex colour logic to prevent overwriting border colours.

    • scenario where a custom hex code is setup against the personalisation colour maintenance program

    • this was overwriting the border colour selection on the personalisation preview

  • Back office shirt personalisation setup restrictions

    • improvements here to apply restrictions only on the relevant font

    • relaxed restrictions around patches setup

  • SSO Redirect Loop Prevention
    Added redirect check to avoid token mismatch and looping issues.

  • Checkbox Toggle Logic Refactor
    Improved toggle behaviour in admin tables for hold/release programmes.

  • Web Promotion Codes validation to prevent non-standard characters

    • Only alpha-numeric characters allowed
  • Non alpha-numeric personalisation characters encoding / stock level issues (e.g. ')

    • Improved handling of personalisation names by decoding HTML entities before saving to the database. This ensures names are stored correctly and prevents issues with special characters or encoded quotes.

    • quotes / apostrophes being stored as in encoded format - &039; - this was leading to incorrect levels on numbers 0, 3 and 9
