Releasing/Identifying Orders Held for Kit Launch
Scenario:
Customer has rang the store asking for update on their order which turns out to be held as part of a kit launch.
Club is curious to know why and to see if other similar orders can be identified.
Answer:
Firstly check the order items to
This order includes items of kit that are marked as Kit launch Items against the stock record (see below example)
To avoid repeat orders facing this issue, post kit launch, you'll need to make sure that the above check box is unticked across all stock products that are launched. You can find this by going to Stock -> Stock Amendment -> SID Details -> Kit Launch Item option has to be unchecked and then use Apply Changes button.
Once you have done this, you should be able to go ahead and despatch.
To find other affected orders you can go to Customer Ordering > Customer Order Held/Release > Print Report > Orders Held for Kit Launch. This will list all orders that have a kit launch item on and are held.
