The Scanner File Audit program gives the ability to check scanner file either before or after they have been posted to check the quantities counted, for each product, on the scanner are correct. This can be done by bin location and/or size.
The File Audit program should be used once scanner files have been uploaded to the back office and can be accessed either prior to posting the scanner file or after the file has been posted to the stocktake. The program can be used to either confirm that quantities of products are correct or to check if all sizes for a certain product, you have stock of, have been scanned.
1) Select Scanner File Audit Program
2) Select branch
3) Select search dates for scanner files
4) Choose whether to show posted or non posted files
5) Choose if you want unused bins to be show
6) Choose output option
7) Select scanner file(s) to view
Once in the Scanner File Audit program the first thing to choose is the branch you want to search for scanner files for. All branches will show up here whether they have been previously frozen or not. You will need to either select “all†which will show scanner files for all branches that match the other criteria or select the branch you want to locate the scanner files for.
After selecting the
branch you will need to select the date range for the scanner file you are
trying to locate. These dates relate to the dates that the files were uploaded
to the back office. You will need to enter both a from and to date so the
system knows which dates to look for files between.
The next step is to choose if you want to only show files that have already been posted to the stocktake, only show files that haven’t already been posted to the stocktake or show both.
The next option allows you to show all bins that have not been counted on a scanner file at the end of the report.
Choose output option
The last step you will need to take before selecting which files you want to view is to choose the output option for the report. The scanner file audit report has 2 different output formats (PDF, Excel csv). There is very little difference in the information that is outputted from the difference formats However the excel format will show the colour of a product in a different field rather than at the end of the description.
