Adding Auction Information Page with Auction Department Button
To set up an information page about auction products you can do so by creating a static page with all the information on how the auction module works.
- To do this go to 'Customer Order Setup' > 'Online Static Page Maintenance'
- Scroll to the bottom and 'Add a New Page'
- Use the text editor box to format your page, add text, buttons, and images.
- You can then set your page to be available on the footer tabs at the bottom of your website by choosing 'Menu Position'
To link this page to as a button on the top of your auction webpage you'll need to create a banner.
- Go to 'Customer Order Setup' > 'Web Pages & Email Text' > 'Banners Maintenance' Tab
- Scroll to the bottom and 'Add a New Image'
- Here you can put in two options
- Add in a image which acts as a CTA (call to action) button that links to the static page.
- Use the text editor to create a button that links to the static page
In this example, the text editor has been used.
To link the text/button to the static page - highlight the necessary area then click the chain icon
Enter the URL of the static page you have just created.
Once completed and edits applied, you can view your button at the top of the auction page.
