*Please note, once the language files have been updated the Development Team will need to run a job for the updates to be reflected on the site.*
You will find a button with the label "Language Translations" at the bottom of
the relevant programs. Or you can find it within File Maintenance on the main menu
If you cannot see this button, you need to check with
someone who has admin status on the back office and ensure you have the
permissions against your employee record in File
Maintenance > Employee:
To amend General Language Translations go to File Maintenance > Language Translation
!!! PLEASE NOTE !!! -> The variables in this program are used in numerous places/pages in the website. The default values for English are generic so they remain relevant on all the pages where this is used.

While the new message might be relevant for the page you are looking at it may not be suitable for other pages where there is no button below this text.
Do not add any new records as these will need to be added manually in
the script in order to display on the website.
Do not change the variable name as the website relies on this to display online.
NOTE: If you are unsure of anything in this program please get in contact with us so we can avoid any potential problems.
Find the text you would like to amend and copy it, go into File Maintenance > Language Translation > hit CTRL + F on your keyboard to bring up the browser Find In Page field usually at the bottom or the top of the screen.
Paste or type the words in the field.
The browser should be able to scroll the page to the relevant section, highlighting the matched words.
Click Edit. Changing nothing but the actual translation wording and hit Apply Changes. Please note that this requires a Language cron script to run (similar to Housekeep) in order to display the changes on the website. This needs to be run manually so make all the necessary amendments and notify us.
Go against a web department or sub department in Customer Order Setup > Web Department / Sub Department Maintenance, scroll all the way down and click on Language Translations.
Select the language you’d like to amend using the tabs at the top. For any fields that are left blank the website will display in English. Once you are done amending, click on Apply Changes at the bottom.
Go against a topmenu in Customer Order Setup > Web Department / Sub Department Maintenance > Maintain Menubar, scroll all the way down and click on Language Translations.
Go against a product in Customer Order Setup > Catalogue File Maintenance > Catalogue Codes > Edit a product > Maintain Web Description, scroll all the way down and click on Web DescriptionLanguage Translations.
Go against a product in Stock > Stock Amendment > Edit a product > Apply To All Stock Records.
On this screen scroll all the way down and click on Language Translations. From here you
can also amend the Web Description. Please note that most changes made in Stock Amendment require the Housekeep
script to run in order for the amendments to be visible on the website
(Housekeep runs approximately every 20 minutes).
