I'm taking two products as an example:
For the first product (2400686)
The Sales Performance value is 0.004. In the department ranking, the Sales Performance weight is 5, so we multiply 0.004 Ã- 5 = 0.02.
Next, we add both values:
0.569 + 0.02 = 0.589.
Finally, we divide this value by 10, which gives 0.0589.
Rounding it off, the final ranking becomes 0.59, which is correctly displayed in the back office.
For the second product (2500505)
the Newness value is 0.822. In the department ranking, the Newness weight is 1, so this value is multiplied by 1, which results in 0.822. The Sales Performance value is 0.023, and in the department ranking the Sales Performance weight is set to 5, so we multiply 0.023 by 5, which equals 0.115.
Now we add these two values: 0.822 + 0.115 = 0.937. Next, we divide this value by 10, which gives 0.0937. After rounding off, the final ranking becomes 0.094, which is correctly displayed in the back office.
This is how we calculate the dynamic ranking. The product price and other parameters are displayed, but they have no impact on the actual ranking.
