Box 1 - INTERSOFT FAIL: Error deserializing XML message. Check your XML complies with the API documentation
If the product name contains the symbol "&" then you will experience the above error message when attempting to despatch. Go to Stock Amendment, search for "&" and remove this symbol from all product names.
Contact phone number is invalid
If there is a special character in the phone number then you will experience the above error message when attempting to despatch. Go to Customer Ordering -> Customer Order Management, search for the order number. Go to Edit delivery details on the right hand side of this screen and remove any special characters from the phone number box.
If the Senders details are incorrect (invalid characters in the phone number) you'll need to raise a case for RSS Admin menus to be accessed.
Box 1 - INTERSOFT FAIL: Item country of origin is
required for all items for this shipment destination, weight, format and
service.
This error will flag up when the Country of Origin has not been set in the product details. If there is more than one item on the order, you will need to check through each item to ensure that it is correct. Go to Stock > Stock Amendment > enter the catalogue code and select. If there is more than one size then ensure you select update all sizes. Within the details scroll down towards the bottom and there is an option with Country of Origin with a drop-down menu. Select the Country of Origin and then use Apply Changes button.
This error message may also occur for international orders.
Please use International Tracked And Signed or just Signed service. This is because most international countries require signature.
Box 1 - INTERSOFT FAIL: Shipment item HS Code is
required for all items for this shipment destination, weight, format and
service.
The above error can be seen when dispatching an international order. The HS translates as Commodity Code. The error message occurs when a product doesn't have the code.
The commodity code can be added per product from:
Stock ->
Stock Amendment and then
Stock Details

This can also be displayed as the following within Carrier Processing Errors:
PRI:"requested shipping service does not contain PRI"
Box 1 - INTERSOFT FAIL: field items Code is exceeds the maximum length of 10.
The above error is because the length of the number in the Commodity Code field against the stock is longer than 10 numbers.
Box 1 - INTERSOFT FAIL: The field serviceCode is required
This error is shown when the service code is missing, which normally means the incorrect delivery method has been selected. Ensure that the correct delivery method is selected in the drop down menu. It may also be that the customer has recently begun using a new service and may simply have missed entering the Service Code provided by their courier.

Box 1 - INTERSOFT FAIL: No Valid Shipments Found - Error Cause: trackingnumbers | One or more shipments are not in a valid state for confirming
This error usually means it was manually deleted in Intersoft - if you run the below using carrier code rather than date parameters you should get everything that's outstanding.
