Unable to despatch an order as it contains a preorder item.
The system is generally set up with an All or Nothing despatch policy. This means that if any item in the order is out of stock, the entire order will be put on hold until all items are available.
There is an option to allow you to despatch part of the order that is available.
Access the order in Customer Order Management /Enquiry program.
Add in the order number and search
Once in the order you will see on the recipient details an option to edit delivery details.
Click into Edit Delivery Details.
Go to the bottom of the page and you will see the Despatch Policy - there should be a drop down option to 'Shop Items in Stock' then click apply changes.
Amending the despatch policy will allow you to now pick and depsatch the part of the order that is available.
