The System options will have two new options added for the Development Centre.
- Password
- Authorise Customers Yes/No
File Maintenance > System Configuration > Customer Order > bottom of page
The Verification Password is what the customers who apply for the Football Centre need to provide.
The Authorise
Trade Customers specifies whether the customers who apply should be
approved automatically (if they have the correct password) or if they need to
be approved manually in the back office (customer still needs to use correct
password to appear in back office).
There will be a new Trade Authorised flag added to the customer database record together with the Pupil, Development Centre Name and the date registered.
Trade Page Name serves as a short-name for the Development Centre signup page URL.
Example: results to www.website.com/page/academy-centre/
Trade Page URL is the URL of the trade web department listing page. The customer should be redirected to this page after successful enrolment.
Example: www.website.com/training/training-gear/
The text displaying on the Development Centre page is also customisable from File Maintenance > System Configuration > Customer Order > bottom of page
When a customer signs in or registers using the single sign on process the billing details screen will have a new Development Centre 'click here' link. If this link is clicked then the customer will be requested to enter the password which will be validated against the system option password, the pupils name and the Development Centre Name.
If the password is valid then the details will be recorded on the customer record and the Trade Flag set to Yes. If the Authorise customer system option is set to Y then the authorized flag will be set to N.
Note: The popup text can be amended in Customer Order Setup > Web Pages and Email Text Maintenance > Web Text
Customer Ordering > Football Centre Authorization
There will be a new script that will request a 'from' and 'to' date together with the option to list all Trade customers or only unauthorized customers.
A list of customers will be displayed on the screen showing the customer name, postcode, date registered, authorized Yes/No, pupil name and development centre name, the operator will select any unauthorized customers and flag them as authorized.
-> Customer Order Setup > Web Dept/Sub-dept Maintenance

The new web department to be called "Football Centre".
-> Customer Order Setup -> Catalogue File Maintenance

The Football Centre customers will be provided with a new link www.website.com/development-centre-custom-URL, when they click on this link they will be asked to sign in and rejected if the trade flag and authorised flag on their customer record is not set to Y.
All Trade products will be excluded from google and the site map.
